How to Become a Christian
To become a Christian, you must first realize that you are "lost"- totally estranged from God, separated from God by a sinful nature.
For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. Romans 3:23 (NIV)
You alone cannot restore the lost relationship between yourself and God. To provide a remedy, God sent His only son, Jesus.
For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Although humanity through sin has separated itself from God, the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross bridges that gap.
But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
Romans 5:8 (NIV)
All that God asks is that you repent of your sins, turn away from them and accept the sacrifice Christ made on the cross for those sins.
That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord, n and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9 (NIV)
Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. Romans 10:13 (NIV)
